Orpheus is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1950. I do not watch many movies under the Drama category, but this was great and now I am bigger fan of movies of this kind. Before you read this review and before I spoil you the story, watch the movie, I highly recommend it. It wasn't easy to leave the cinema, when I saw it first time. The soundtrack is the greatest asset of this film. You can watch it online here on and add your own subtitles if you are not native english speaker.
