For me this movie is one of the best movies released in year 2009. I will grant that my expectations were very low before watching Whip It. If a movie can keep me focused for the full movie time, that's really great. Anyway, Drama may boast of one of the biggest numbers of good movies. Great actors and great story. However, I think that well-chosen actors and an interesting script are not pushed to the background by music, because a good film consists of many elements.
