The Yearling is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1947. I do not watch many movies under the Drama category, but this was great and now I am bigger fan of movies of this kind. If a movie can keep me focused for the full movie time, that's really great. The Yearling is definitely one of these movies that you can watch several times and always find something new, and something interesting. Clarence Brown's films play on emotions and are able to move a more sensitive viewer. The Yearling is one of the best possible choice for a saturday evening with cinema.... Show more
