Diff'rent Strokes is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1986. I will grant that my expectations were very low before watching Diff'rent Strokes. This tv show got everything what a tv show should have, and I'm assured that anyone who see the full tv show Diff'rent Strokes will enjoy it. It wasn't easy to leave the cinema, when I saw it first time. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the tv show only to win favor with the mass audience.
