Gone to Earth is a top class production made in 1950. I don't watch too many Action movies, but this one was amazing. Nowadays, fresh movies entering the cinemas, do not have 'something' what this movie got. It is really hard not to smile while watching Gone to Earth. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the film only to win favor with the mass audience.
