The movie The Ruins is a really unique movie compared to other movies from 2008 year. I will grant that my expectations were very low before watching The Ruins. Nowadays, fresh movies entering the cinemas, do not have 'something' what this movie got. What's more, this is definitely the type of movie that you can watch several times and always see something new, interesting. Carter Smith's work is very characteristic.
