Hangmen Also Die! is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1943. It is a pleasure for me to watch such a good movie. The hollywood, cannot boast with a large number of better movies. It is really hard not to smile while watching Hangmen Also Die!. Great actors and great story. However, I think that well-chosen actors and an interesting script are not pushed to the background by music, because a good film consists of many elements.
