My favorite movie from year 1978. I will grant that my expectations were very low before watching The Lord of the Rings. If a movie can keep me focused for the full movie time, that's really great. It wasn't easy to leave the cinema, when I saw it first time. Ralph Bakshi's films play on emotions and are able to move a more sensitive viewer. The Lord of the Rings is one of the best possible choice for a saturday evening with cinema.
