Somewhere in Time is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1980. I don't watch too many Action movies, but this one was amazing. If a movie can keep me focused for the full movie time, that's really great. In my opinion, some of the actors roles were just a masterpieces which made an amazing impression on me. Great actors and great story. However, I think that well-chosen actors and an interesting script are not pushed to the background by music, because a good film consists of many elements.
