Manhattan Melodrama is for me one of the biggest surprises of the year 1934. I don't watch too many Crime movies, but this one was amazing. Nowadays, fresh movies entering the cinemas, do not have 'something' what this movie got. Anyway, Drama may boast of one of the biggest numbers of good movies.
